Ginevra Scaglia trained at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris studying with Jacques Lecoq, Alan Mollot, Sandra Mladonovitch, Christophe Marchand and Norman Taylor. Subsequently she also followed the Teacher’s Training Course (pedagogical year) at Lecoq’s school obtaining too a degree in LEM- Laboratoire d’Etude du Mouvement, Departement d’Art Plastiques et Scénographiques, Ecole Jacques Lecoq. She also trained with notable practitioners including Pierre Byland, Phillippe Gaulier, Theatre Complicité, Théâtre du Soleil, Mamadou Dioume, Raffaella Giordano, Enrique Vargas, Scott Wells, Tapa Sudana and Spy Monkey. Recently she followed a Three Years Training in Danza Sensibile, with Claude Coldy, a study on Osteopathic Touch applied to static and dynamic movement for dancers and performing artists. She has worked as an actress and director with various companies in Europe. She is a co-founder of Ishka Theatre Company in Dublin. She has performed in Physical Theatre performances on tour in Ireland, the UK, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Belgium and China: ‘Red Day’ and ‘Bosch’, Ishka Theatre Company was presented at the Dublin Fringe Festival, The London Mime Festival, the Edinburgh Festival and Shangai Theatre Festival. She directed ‘Migrazioni’ for Sinequanon Company, which toured extensively in Italy and as an actress she performed in “Quando gli uomini erano fatti di carta”, “Femina “, “Romeo e Giulietta’. She conceived and performed in Sara Kane’s “Psychosis 4.48’’ for Naima Theatre Company. As a teacher she led Classes, Workshops, Lectures and Masterclasses in Schools, Universities, Colleges and Theaters in Italy and abroad: Accademia dell’Arte -MFA Program and Full Year Students (Core Faculty Member 2015-2022), Teatro della Tosse di Genova, Atelier Teatro Fisico Philip Radice di Torino, A.I.D.M- Accademia del Musical di Torino, Cubo Teatro di Torino, Belfiore Danza di Torino, Quinta Tinta Impro School di Torino, Columbus Cinema Acting School, International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, The Actors Centre of London, Down to Earth Theatre Company in Dublin at Trinity College, Espace Catastrophe in Bruxelles, PAUT (Performing Arts University) introducing Lecoq’s approach. In 2020 she founded TEATRO IN NATURA.

Sono un’ attrice/creatrice/performer ed Insegnante di Teatro Fisico e Movimento, mi sono formata all’ Ecole Jacques Lecoq di Parigi, ho avuto come insegnanti Jacques Lecoq, Norman Taylor, Thomas Prakkti, Alan Mollot, Sandra Mladonovitch, Christophe Marchand, Philippe Gaulier, Pierre Bylan, Arianne Mouskhine , Tapa Sudana.
Successivamente sono stata ammessa al Terzo Anno Pedagogico per Insegnanti ottenendo la certificazione per insegnare il Metodo Lecoq. Parallelamente mi sono diplomata al LEM- Laboratoire d’Etude du Mouvement d’Art Plastique et Scénographique – Ecole Jacques Lecoq. Recentemente ho seguito la formazione biennale in Danza Sensibile con Claude Coldy, uno studio sull’ascolto osteopatico applicato al movimento statico e dinamico per danzatori e artisti performativi.Il corpo , la presenza, la relazione allo spazio ,sono cardini su cui ruota la mia ricerca artistica. Ideatrice del progetto Teatro in Natura.
